Our History
Veriflyers began as an idea in November 2016. One of our founders, Allan McKie, ran a different business that used leaflets as a method of advertising. He had struggled to find a reliable leaflet distribution business in Nottingham, and using Royal Mail was simply too expensive. So, Allan contacted Andrew Brackenbury in the hopes of enlisting his impressive accountancy background, and together the two of them pooled their skills to create Veriflyers.
The mission was to create a reliable and trusted leaflet delivery service in Nottingham. Veriflyers launched in May 2017, and in November 2017 bought the client list and delivery team of another business to increase its capacity. Since then, the business has flourished, recording double digit growth each year.
By mid-2019, we’d outgrown our initial premises and moved to a recently renovated 1,500 square-foot warehouse in Sherwood, Nottingham that we still occupy today.
In June 2020, as we came out of the first COVID Lockdown, Veriflyers saw an opportunity to expand into the postcode areas around Derby. Business volume in Derby is steadily increasing as we take on more clients and is showing no signs of slowing down.
